AWARD WINNING SONGWRITER JEAN MAKES A BIG BREAK
El Paso, Texas native Jean with HOT BUTTERED BLUES recently received
the honor of being named finalist by the Song of the Year (
http://www.songoftheyear.com/)
songwriting contest. Song of the Year is an elite international
songwriting contest supporting VH-1's Save the Music Foundation.
The Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music
including many Grammy Award winners.
Song of the Year is excited to recognize Jean for her exceptional
songwriting ability for the song MYSTERY UNDER DESIRE. Jean
competed against songwriters from all over the world for this
honor. When asked what inspired the song Jean commented that after
I hobbled into his office on crutches completely broken, betrayed an
destroyed by the ones I trusted and loved the most. Dr. Sides/Pope
a Do, made me laugh, he fixed my broken wing and made me feel
beautiful again. I wrote MYSTERY UNDER DESIRE for Dr. Sides which
is the theme song for a dangerously delicious screenplay SEX ON THE
ORIENT EXPRESS that I wrote which is currently being reviewed for
production.
Presently Jean just completed the spectacular video for RED SKY
PRODUCTIONS in El Paso, and is concentrating on her songwriting and
screenwriting career while hoping to get a record deal, a movie
deal, and a book deal.
